KOCHI: Actress Maya Viswanath has claimed that the issues between Shwetha Menon and Ansiba Hassan did not begin within the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). She said the differences between the two started during their time on the reality show Bigg Boss. Maya made the remarks during an interview with a YouTube channel.

Maya claimed that not even a cobra or a viper holds as much resentment as Shwetha. "When Mohanlal arrived at the Bigg Boss venue, Ansiba touched his feet as a mark of respect. However, she did not do the same for Shwetha, who was standing nearby. This was the beginning of Shwetha's grudge towards Ansiba," Maya said.

"If it had been veteran actresses Kaviyoor Ponnamma or KPAC Lalitha in Shwetha's place, Ansiba would have touched their feet out of respect. Ansiba had no obligation to do the same for Swetha. Respect should be earned, not demanded," she said.

Maya also alleged that during Bigg Boss, Shwetha often opposed Ansiba's views and instead supported other contestants. She further alleged that people Shwetha initially supports later end up facing problems. Maya added that several members of AMMA have had similar experiences.
