NAGPUR: RSS leader and Sangh Parivar’s ideological advisor Indresh Kumar on Thursday tore into pieces BJP’s toned-down performance in the LS polls of 2024. Indresh Kumar blamed BJP's lordly demeanour and arrogance for the downfall. The big criticism came during an event organized in Jaipur. A few days ago, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had implicitly criticized the BJP and PM Modi.

'Sri Rama devotees gradually became arrogant. Touted to be the biggest party, Lord Ram stopped the party at 241 due to this arrogance.” This criticism from Indresh Kumar was the backdrop of the BJP winning only 241 seats in the Lok Sabha elections from their expected number of 400 seats.

“Those who did not believe in Rama were put together in 234. God's justice is true and enjoyable”, said Indresh Kumar who didn’t even spare the INDIA alliance in his criticism.

An article published in the RSS mouthpiece Organiser blamed the overconfidence of BJP leaders and cadres for the Lok Sabha elections trouncing. An article written by Ratan Sharda in the latest edition points out Narendra Modi’s miscalculation in all 543 constituencies and the party’s arrogance in not reaching out to the RSS.
