PALAKKAD: Shobha Surendran, the NDA candidate from Palakkad, has stepped forward with some fresh allegations on the eve of polling. She said that she is going to tear off the mask of Rahul Mamkootathil MLA, who sexually abused minor girls. She also said that she will bring many including Shafi Parambil MP, who gave money to settle the case, before the media. She was responding to Congress' accusation of giving money to woo voters.

‘I’ve got the story of the present UDF candidate in Palakkad. I am not revealing it as I don't have that habit. I seek votes in the name of development. One had come to see me from Ernakulam. No journalist knew about it. I have told her some things. Kerala politics will see the real game after April 10. I will be there to support the girls abused.

A woman named Shobha Surendran has been a supporter of abused girls in Kerala for years. I have kept all their complaints on file with me. I will not respond further about it until this election is over. A complaint has been filed with the National Women's Commission. The rest will be revealed after April 10,' said Shobha Surendran.
