The controversy revolving around actor Shane Nigam's protest against the makers of 'Veyil' movie is still doing rounds in the social media. Now, actress Maala Parvathy has come up supporting the actor through her Facebook post. The actress said that while working in the movie 'Ishq', she noticed that Shane is a sincere person who strives hard to get into his characters.

The post reads, 'The anarchy of artists has always come under debate. Shane is an emotional bomb. He is both intense and sincere in his approach. Though people within the field of art might like this, the general public might not understand this. I am reminded of how acclaimed director Herzog pointed a gun at actor Kinski. The world hardly recognizes a genius when he is alive. An artist's mental stress is always considered as a burden by others. I first met Shane while working in the film 'Ishq'. During the shooting, I came to know how he commits himself to portray the character sincerely. Even the director of 'Ishq' had shared this opinion about Shane. People might differ from this opinion as well because Shane is not a regular 'good boy' with discipline. He does not know to do anything fake. He will say whatever that comes to his mind and if he is wrong, he does not mind correcting his stand. I believe that it is this innocence possessed by Shane that comes out in the form of art.'
