THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 13 more regions have been identified as hotspots in Kerala. Nagaroor (containment zone ward 5), Ottasekharamangalam (10) and Parassala (16, 18) in Thiruvananthapuram district, Thillankeri (10), Chokli (5), Ezhome (7), Taliparamba municipality (34) and Mayyil (11) in Kannur, Chellanam (15,16), Piravom (17) and Paingottoor (5) in Ernakulam, Arattupuzha(6,7) in Alappuzha and Thachanattukara (11) in Palakkad are the new hotspots.
Meanwhile, 7 regions were removed from the list of hotspots on Saturday. They are Thrikkodithanam (19) and Ramapuram (8) in Kottayam, Pookkottukavu (7) and Mannarkkad municipality (10) in Palakkad, Kumily (14), Kattappana municipality(5,8) and Rajakumari (8) in Idukki. At present, there are 135 hotspots in the state.
