THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 6491 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Among this, 5669 persons developed the disease through contact including 663 cases without an identified source of infection. 95 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 64 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 5770 patients tested negative for the virus today.
The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Tuesday with the toll rising to 2121.
