Applications will not be accepted without BJP district chief’s recommendation letter, Suresh Gopi makes yet another controversial comment

THRISSUR: Actor and Rajya Sabha MP Suresh Gopi has made yet another controversial statement amidst local body polls. His statement was that he will only execute the demands of those coming with BJP district chief’s letter. He also said applications coming to his MP’s office without that will not be accepted.

The actor said that he gets letters from people of 14 districts of Kerala. The letter of BJP district chief will be included in it. The actor said that he will not accept letters coming without BJP district chief’s letter. He also claimed that the BJP will get 21-30 seats in Thrissur Corporation.

The actor is busy campaigning for the BJP in Thrissur for the last two days. His three-day campaigning in the district will end today. His speech in Attingal had also stoked a controversy. He addressed non-BJP candidates as waste. He also said that he was not ready to accept them as candidates.
