PALAKKAD: Police have arrested one more SDPI worker in connection with the murder of RSS worker Sanjith in Palakkad. The arrested person has been identified as a native of Athikkode. He was directly involved in the crime. He was arrested from a hideout in Cherpulassery. Police have not released the name and details of the accused as they have to conduct an identification parade. With this, the number of persons arrested in the case rose to six. Police are yet to arrest two more people who were directly involved in the incident.

According to police, political animosity led to the murder. District police chief R Vishwanath said the accused had been planning the murder for a long time.
