‘I acted as a messenger for their love affair, later became his life partner’

When many said the marriage of KPAC Lalitha and Bharathan was after a love affair, the former had openly said that it was not like that.

In an interview with Kerala Kaumudi Flash Movies, Lalitha had said that she had acted as a messenger to Bharathan’s love affair with another actress and later decided to marry each other.

‘People simply said that we were in love. Bharathan was in love with a famous Malayalam actress then. Bharathettan used to come to my house in Chennai to phone her.

At that time, phone was there only in my house in the area where I stayed. I acted as a messenger for their love. For some reason, they broke up later.

Their relationship ended there. When I went to the set of Rethinirvedam, the third film of Bharathan, I heard a news that we were close and that we travelled together in a train and that somebody had seen us at the Shornur railway station.

In fact, such an incident had not happened. When all concocted a story of our relationship, Bharathettan then said if it is so, then let us get married.
