Actors Anupama Parameswaran and Sai Pallavi, who made their acting debut through the blockbuster Malayalam film 'Premam' starring Nivin Pauly, continue to share a close friendship beyond cinema. Anupama recently revealed through an Instagram Story how Sai Pallavi helped her get through one of the most difficult phases of her life.
Sharing a photograph of herself sitting in front of several framed paintings, Anupama said the artworks were created during one of the toughest periods she faced in 2021. She credited Sai Pallavi for introducing her to painting and helping her discover a new way to cope with her emotions.
Anupama said she had always loved colours since childhood but had never attended painting classes. During a conversation with Sai Pallavi about her mental state at the time, the actress gifted her a set of watercolours. According to Anupama, that simple gesture encouraged her to start painting and helped her discover another side of herself.

'These were all painted during one of the hardest phases of my life in 2021. As a child, I loved colours, but I never really explored painting. Then one day, while sharing what I was going through, I spoke to @saipallavi.senthamarai. She handed me her watercolours, and that simple gesture started it all. A little shout-out and a lot of love to Pallavi for introducing me to a part of myself I didn't know existed. Love you, darling. And then, last year, my cute mom and dad quietly got the entire collection framed and hung them on the walls of my studio. From a difficult chapter to a wall full of memories. How sweet is that?' Anupama wrote on Instagram.
Sai Pallavi later reshared Anupama's story and praised the artwork, describing the paintings as deeply personal and beautiful. She also expressed happiness and pride in Anupama's talent.
