Refused to give money to buy alcohol, man kills friend by hitting on head with stone

MUMBAI: A man killed his friend who was asleep for refusing to give money to purchase alcohol. The accused Baba Pawar has been arrested by the police. The incident took place in South Mumbai. Ansari (46), a native of Uttar Pradesh, is the deceased. They were friends and worked together at the BMC fish market.

Pawar who is an alcoholic had asked Ansari for money to buy liquor on Monday night. But Ansari denied. This led to a fight between the two. Pawar who left after the fight came back and hit Ansari on the head with a big rock while he was asleep. Ansari died on spot. A special team was formed by the police to arrest the accused.
