KUWAIT CITY: A fuel tank caught fire in a drone attack at Kuwait International Airport. No casualties have been reported. Efforts to douse the flames are underway, said authorities of Kuwait Civil Aviation.

The Kuwaiti military said on social media that its air defenses were responding to enemy missile and drone attacks. The military confirmed that the explosions were the result of air defense systems intercepting the attacks.

Meanwhile, a company in Bahrain caught fire in the Iranian attack. The Bahrain Ministry of Interior said that civil defense members had extinguished the fire. The Saudi Defense Ministry also said that eight drones had destroyed air defense systems in the eastern region.

The UAE said it had shot down seven ballistic missiles and 16 UAVs. UAE air defense systems destroyed seven ballistic missiles and 16 UAVs launched from Iran on March 23.
