
HYDERABAD: An expatriate was injured in the attack by Iran near Abu Dhabi International Airport. Rajeshwar Rao of Telangana was injured. Rao had been working in the housekeeping department at Abu Dhabi Airport for four years. He informed his family over the phone that he and several others were injured in the attack that happened near the airport premises.
Although he spoke to his family via video call, he did not show the injuries and his family sought the help of the Telangana government to take steps to bring him back home as soon as possible.
Many from the villages in Telangana depend on Gulf countries for their livelihood. The ongoing conflict in the region is worrying the relatives of the expatriates. The family members of the expatriates are hoping that the government will take appropriate steps to ensure the safety of those affected.
