
KUWAIT CITY: An Indian worker was killed after Iran launched a powerful missile attack on a power plant. This was informed by the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity. Information, including the state from which the dead is from, is not available. The Iranian attack targeted power plants and seawater desalination plants in Kuwait. The authorities informed that these facilities have been extensively damaged. The attack happened on Sunday evening.
As part of the Iranian attack on the State of Kuwait, an electricity and seawater desalination plant building were attacked. As a result, an Indian worker was killed and the building was severely damaged,' a spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity said.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior informed that 307 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles and 616 drone attacks have been launched on Kuwait since the start of the Israel-Iran-US conflict.
Meanwhile, there was concern in Kuwait following Israel's attack on Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant the other day. The concern was whether there would be a nuclear radiation leak at the plant. The Bushehr plant is only 240 kilometers away from Kuwait. It is feared that if there is a leak, nuclear radiation could reach Kuwait. However, Iran's Atomic Energy Agency had announced that there had been no nuclear leak so far.
