MANAMA: The big announcement longed by expatriates in Bahrain is here. Eid al-Fitr holidays have been declared in Bahrain. The holiday will be observed on the day of Eid and the two days after the occasion.

The holiday was announced by Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. If Eid falls on a Sunday, both Friday and Saturday will also be declared holidays. The holiday will apply to ministries, government agencies, and public institutions in the country.

Eid al-Fitr holidays were announced in Qatar yesterday. The holidays run from March 30 to April 7. The country's ministries, government institutions, and public institutions will be closed on these days, Oatar’s Amiri Diwani announced. According to the announcement, Eid al-Fitr in Qatar will be on Sunday, March 30.

The 8th of April will be a working day after the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. Amiri Diwani has announced that the Governor of the Qatar Central Bank will decide regarding the holidays of financial institutions, banks, and entities regulated by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority, including the Qatar Central Bank.

Meanwhile, private companies in the country usually get three days off for Eid. Some companies offer up to five days off. The companies will inform their employees about this in the coming days.
