WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop his attacks on Iran. Reports say Trump warned that Israel would be isolated and face its own crises if the attacks continued, in the context of peace talks with Iran.

‘Bibi, be careful, or you won't even have my support. You'll be alone,’ Trump reportedly said during a phone call with Netanyahu. However, Netanyahu is taking a stand that rejects Trump. The Israeli Prime Minister's decision is reportedly to continue his moves against Iran and Hezbollah.

Iran resumed its attacks on Israel yesterday amid peace talks to end the Iran-US conflict. Iran retaliated after a pause after being provoked by an Israeli attack targeting Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. There were concerns that the conflict would escalate into an active war at one point. However, international media reports say that the conflict ended under the mediation of US President Donald Trump before the issue escalated. A ceasefire was announced following the Middle East conflicts on April 8.
