Malayali youth dies after falling from building in Kuwait

KOLLAM: A Malayali youth died after falling from a residential building in Kuwait. The victim was identified as Jijo Antony (27), son of Antony and the late Shanthi, of Manna Bhavan in St. Joseph's Nagar 170, Kureepuzha, Thrikkadavoor.

The incident took place at around 3 pm on Wednesday in Hawalli, Kuwait City. Jijo had earlier worked in Dubai. He then came to Kuwait a month and a half ago through a private recruitment agency. He was a delivery driver in a private firm. Jijo lived with other workers in the firm, and he only passed the Kuwaiti driving license exam the other day. He was about to get his license in hand on Wednesday when death came unexpectedly. On receiving the information, Kuwaiti security officials reached the spot, completed the procedures and shifted the body to the morgue.
