NEW DELHI: The Jaish-e-Mohammed's operational headquarters, Markaz Subhan Allah (also known as Jamia Subhan Allah), in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, has been rebuilt again. The headquarters is located in the Punjab province. The Pakistani government reportedly allowed Jaish-e-Mohammed Rs 25 crore for the renovation.

About Rs 11 crore was spent on rebuilding the central hall alone. Damaged buildings adjacent to the main complex, including Madrasa al-Sabir and residential quarters used by Jaish-e-Mohammed commanders, have been removed. New construction work is also underway at the site.

The reconstruction comes 15 months after the Indian army launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, targeting terror camps in Pakistan. The Indian army's retaliation followed the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 people.

Markaz Subhan Allah is located about 100 km from the international border. It was a major centre used for recruitment and training of Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists. Also known as Usman-o-Ali Campus, the 18-acre complex earlier housed a mosque and other facilities.
