‘A tiger’s offspring won’t be a kitten,’ Lissy praises Vismaya, Ashish Joe Antony

Vismaya Mohanlal’s debut film, Thudakkam, is receiving an excellent response from audiences in the theatres. Actress Lissy stepped forward praising Vismaya’s performance in the film. She also did not forget to appreciate the performance of Ashish Joe Antony, son of Antony Perumbavoor, who plays a prominent role in the film. Lissy congratulated the two via a post shared on social media.

‘It makes me extremely happy to see the acting talent you inherited from your father, one of the greatest actors our country has ever seen, shining so brilliantly on the silver screen today. ‘A tiger’s offspring can’t be a kitten!’ she wrote on social media.

Lissy also said that even when many criticised Vismaya over her appearance and body language, she was confident that Vismaya would respond to them with her talent. She described Vismaya’s action sequences in the film as spectacular.

‘When some with no sense of individuality criticised your appearance and expressions, I was certain that you would not respond with words, but would silence everyone with your extraordinary acting. You proved it. Your action sequences in the film are truly on another level. Your flexibility and screen presence are astonishing. You have rewritten all the conventional stereotypes about how a female lead should look and behave. In your thirties, you have proved that what truly matters is not age, but talent, individuality and dedication,’ wrote Lissy.

Lissy also said that Vismaya should always retain the humility and simplicity she inherited from her mother. She added that Ashish Joe Antony was the biggest surprise in the film. Lissy further said that, in the future, Antony Perumbavoor may be known not only as one of the finest producers in Malayalam cinema, but also as Ashish Joe’s father.
