‘What do you know about my life?’: Anupama Parameswaran silences critic over Instagram Post

Actress Anupama Parameswaran has established herself as a leading star not only in Malayalam but also in Tamil and Telugu cinema. The actress often shares moments from her personal life, including her travels, on social media. A recent exchange between the actress and a journalist over one of her Instagram posts has now gone viral.

The incident happened during the launch of her upcoming Telugu film Crazy Kalyanam, where a journalist questioned whether her recent social media post had been unnecessary. Responding firmly, Anupama said that it is her social media account and that she alone decides what to post.

‘You are known to be a very private person, yet you stay connected with your fans via social media. Recently, you shared your emotions, including your anger. Do you think that was the right thing to do? Was it really necessary?’ asked the journalist.

Anupama replied, ‘This is my social media account. I decide what I post there. I wasn't venting my anger. I spoke about the changes a woman goes through. I'm proud that I shared it.’

The journalist continued, saying that the post looked like blaming someone indirectly. Anupama responded by asking, ‘What do you know about my life?’ She reiterated that she has every right to post whatever she wants on her Instagram account.
