'I know the truth; recent attention affected me'; Actor Dhruv Vikram responds

Finally, actor Dhruv Vikram responded to the recent allegations about his personal life at the India Today Tamil Roundtable held in Chennai. Over the last few weeks, Dhruv’s name was dragged into major controversy after actress Anupama Parameswaran, his rumoured former girlfriend, revealed facing narcissistic abuse from her unnamed boyfriend. The revelations led many to judge the partner to be Dhruv.

At the conference, the anchor asked the actor about his method of handling scrutiny, particularly what has been going on in the recent weeks.

“If I am being honest, the recent attention has affected me. It is important to anchor yourself in reality. I know the truth, and I align with it so I know how far the scrutiny can travel. In these situations, we learn to become an army of one and do the work needed to protect our bubble.

Just fiercely protect people you love and everything that matters to us," said Dhruv.

On his recent absence from social media:

“I am someone who loved to use iMovie and edit videos. I love to take videos of my dad, pets and my niece. I had my time on social media, but now I use it just for promotions. I like to spend other times reading or listening to music.”

Anupama Parameswaran recently appeared in a talk show and revealed the two years of ordeal she endured while in a relationship. The actress said she endured both physical and mental agony after getting trapped in the toxic relationship and alleged that her former partner displayed a dual personality, which she drew parallels with the movie Anniyan.
