Toxic, the Indian gangster film that received much hype even months before its release, is now in theatres. Since the time the trailer dropped, fans have been anticipating the release. Pan -Indian star Yash is joined by a motley cast in this film directed by award-winning filmmaker Geethu Mohandas.

It is Thiruvonam day in Kerala, and there is no stopping the rush in theatres for Toxic. Let us hear from the audience regarding the first-day response to one of India’s most anticipated movies of 2026.

  • The worst part is the dialogues. The four-year dedication Yash put into the film has gone down the drain. This will be the biggest downfall for Yash.

  • This is toxic torture.

  • The worst that Yash will ever do. Nothing could stoop lower than this.

  • Thiruvonam day wasted

  • Poor execution, terrible storytelling and appalling acting. What is the purpose of splashing these crores for such a disaster?

  • Not even one high moment in this three-and-a-half-hour-long movie. Theatre acting at its core.

  • The movie is below par, but what made it even worse was the Malayalam dubbing.

  • Unbearable

  • I walked out of the theatre even before the climax. Take that for a review.

  • I don’t know about others, but I liked the movie. A different kind of cinema.
