KOCHI: The Income Tax Department conducted raids on actor Soubin Shahir's office in Kochi, as part of an investigation into alleged black money transactions linked to the financial success of the movie 'Manjummal Boys'. The raids were carried out at multiple locations, including the office of Parava Films Company and Dream Big Distributors in Pullepady.

According to officials, the investigation is focused on large-scale financial irregularities, particularly the sources of funding for the two production companies. The raids, conducted by the Kochi unit of the Income Tax Investigation Department, aim to gather information on suspected unaccounted transactions.

The operation, which began on Monday afternoon, is still ongoing, with authorities scrutinizing records and financial documents. The findings are expected to shed light on the alleged misuse of funds in the guise of the film's commercial success.
