After 38 years, Lissy reunites with Priyadarshan for screen comeback, joined by Kalyani Priyadarshan

Veteran Malayalam actress Lissy is set to return in front of the camera after a long break. She is making her comeback through a new advertisement for Kalyan Jewellers, directed by filmmaker Priyadarshan. The commercial also features their daughter and actress Kalyani Priyadarshan, along with Tamil actor Prabhu.

This marks the first time Lissy has worked under Priyadarshan's direction since the 1988 blockbuster Chithram. Lissy made her acting debut as a heroine in Priyadarshan's Odaruthammava Aalariyam. The duo later collaborated on several hit Malayalam films.

Lissy and Priyadarshan got married in 1990. Following her marriage, Lissy stepped away from the film industry. The couple got separated in 2016 after 26 years of marriage. However, they recently revealed that they have reunited and are living together again.

Meanwhile, behind-the-scenes videos from the advertisement shoot have gone viral on social media. The videos show Kalyani warmly hugging her mother, Lissy, while another clip captures Lissy and Priyadarshan discussing the script on the set.
