Malayalam actress Lena has opened up about her spiritual journey, detailing her past life visions and the scepticism she faced from her family. Speaking in a recent interview, the actress elaborated on her previous disclosures, clarifying that her insights were achieved through meditation rather than any therapeutic intervention.
Lena, who had previously revealed her belief that she was a Buddhist monk in her past life, stated that she passed away at the age of 63 in that lifetime. She noted that while the concept of past lives is not universally accepted, there is a segment of people who acknowledge it, adding that she welcomes scientific validation if it ever occurs.
According to the actress, unlocking past life memories requires an individual to have absolute clarity and order in their present life to avoid disruption. She observed that because many people struggle to manage the complexities of daily life, handling the additional knowledge of a previous birth could prove overwhelming for most.
Reflecting on her personal experience, Lena shared that her first husband was unable to relate to her spiritual claims. This prompted an intervention from her family, who could not comprehend her assertions and ultimately suggested that she consult a psychiatrist.
Lena concluded by stating that spirituality and unique personal experiences are not easily understood by everyone. She remarked that while it was her family that struggled to comprehend her views in the past, she now encounters similar scepticism from the broader Malayalam community, emphasising that she does not share her experiences with the expectation that everyone will understand them.
