'Despicable act for mere attention; reason behind all social media trolls'

Actor and production controller Azad Kannadikkal came down heavily on mimicry artist Joby Kodakara after the latter took to Facebook to reveal his role as a body double for Mohanlal in the recently released film *Jailer 2*.

Azad said it was not the first time that filmmakers use dupe artists but requested people working in the film department not to entertain artists like Joby. Azad said it was unacceptable that the artist revealed the details on the release day of the movie itself.

Azad Kannadikkal:

“On the very day a film release—made with an investment of 350 crore rupees- this individual, dressed as a body double for Mohanlal, engaged in a despicable act. He performed as a 'double' for Mohanlal, mimicking scenes that actually appear in the movie. However, for mere attention, this artist engaged in cheap tactics.

This person is the reason behind the social media trolls claiming that all of Mohanlal’s portions in the film *Jailer 2* were performed by a body double. He was likely paid for the work he was hired to do; however, accepting that payment and then engaging in such malicious behaviour is absolutely unacceptable," wrote Azad.
