‘Is this a classical dance arangettam?’; Sindhu Krishna silences troll, gives fitting reply to family critics

Sindhu Krishna stepped forward responding to a nasty comment criticizing her for not inviting Vasantha, her mother for the wedding of her daughter and actress Ahaana Krishna to Nimish Ravi. The comment said, ‘Sindhu Krishna should at least be invited to Ahaana’s daughter’s wedding.’ Responding to the comment, Sindhu Krishna said, ‘Thank you for your big heart.’

Ahaana herself had previously spoken openly about the personal issues she had with her grandmother. Social media has been flooded with comments both supporting and criticizing Ahaana over the matter. In addition to her grandmother, there has also been criticism over the fact that Tanvi Sudheer, daughter of Sindhu Krishna’s sister, was not invited to the wedding.

Apart from that, many have also mocked Ahaana’s look on her wedding day. Most of the unpleasant comments appeared below the wedding pictures of Ahaana shared by Sindhu Krishna. Many commented ‘Ahaana looks like a girl dressed up for a Bharatanatyam performance.’ Sindhu Krishna did not hesitate to give sharp replies to such comments either. When someone commented, ‘Is Ahaana going for a classical dance debut?’, she replied, ‘I’m going too. Are you coming?’

Meantime, several others also came forward criticizing the negative comments. One viewer wrote, ‘The comment section is full of typical online neighborhood aunties and uncles criticizing everything like the saris is not good enough, the lipstick isn’t right, the gold isn’t proper, Bharatanatyam model, and so on. When they see a couple, instead of wishing them well, these people go around finding faults. An art form that has existed for years has now moved online.’

Sindhu Krishna supported the comment, writing, “This is absolutely true.”
