KOCHI: Air India Express announced its expanded winter schedule, featuring 150 international flights from various Indian airports, including routes such as Kochi-Bangkok, Kochi-Kuwait, Thiruvananthapuram-Bahrain, and Thiruvananthapuram-Riyadh.
This winter schedule—the most extensive to date—comprises 585 daily flights, including 435 domestic services. The new schedule will be implemented in phases starting October 25. Air India Express currently operates a fleet of over 105 aircraft and will launch services on more than 40 new domestic and international routes. While the summer schedule featured approximately 3,150 weekly flights, the new schedule will see this figure rise to around 4,100. Additionally, the number of weekly one-stop connection services will increase to approximately 1,600, up from the previous 1,330.
As part of the winter schedule, four weekly services each will be operated on the Kochi–Bangkok, Bangkok–Indore, Lucknow–Ras Al Khaimah, and Phuket–Hyderabad routes. There will be two weekly services each on the Bahrain–Thiruvananthapuram, Bangkok–Visakhapatnam, and Mangaluru–Ras Al Khaimah routes, and up to three weekly services on the Riyadh–Thiruvananthapuram and Sharjah–Surat routes. Three weekly services each will be launched on the Abu Dhabi–Goa (Mopa) and Amritsar–Abu Dhabi routes.
There will be seven weekly services each on the Bengaluru–Kathmandu and Dubai–Goa (Dabolim) routes. Three weekly services each will operate on the Kochi–Kuwait, Lucknow–Riyadh, Mangaluru–Kuwait, and Mumbai–Kuwait routes. Additionally, there will be three services on the Bhopal–Sharjah route, four on the Chandigarh–Sharjah route, 14 on the Chennai–Singapore route, and four on the Delhi–Riyadh route.
In the domestic sector, seven weekly services each will be operated on the Ahmedabad–Delhi, Bengaluru–Goa (Mopa), Bengaluru–Jodhpur, Bengaluru–Madurai, Delhi–Sri Vijayapuram (Port Blair), Delhi–Udaipur, Hyderabad–Pune, and Mumbai–Nagpur routes.
There will be 14 weekly services on the Bengaluru–Coimbatore route. Four services will operate on the Bhubaneswar–Sri Vijayapuram (Port Blair) route, three on the Bhopal–Navi Mumbai route, five on the Delhi–Jaipur route, three on the Hyderabad–Mangaluru route, and four on the Indore–Navi Mumbai route. There will also be two weekly services on the Kolkata–Pune route.
