NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul denounced the use of force against the students protesting the examination irregularities in the Jharkhand Public Service Commission. Rahul also noted on X that the students have every right to protest peacefully. This is Rahul's first response to the issue. Only through talks can a permanent solution be found to such problems. Rahul Gandhi also demanded that the Jharkhand government listen to the legitimate demands of the candidates and resolve the problems immediately.

Earlier, the BJP had come out against Rahul Gandhi for practising silence on the students' protest over the Jharkhand PSC exam irregularities while selectively responding on issues of NEET irregularities. Jharkhand is governed by a coalition government involving the INDIA bloc.
