17-year-old boy killed during clash in Naruvamoodu, two friends taken into custody

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old boy was killed during a clash at Naruvamoodu in Thiruvananthapuram. The deceased has been identified as Shivasurya, a native of Peringammala. Police have taken two of his friends, Ajith and Karthik, into custody in connection with the incident. The two reportedly took Shivasurya to the hospital after the incident. He had multiple injuries all over his body. He died while being shifted to the Medical College Hospital for further treatment.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred during a fight allegedly linked to substance use. The dispute broke out among the three youths at Punnamoodu Junction. During the altercation, Shivasurya reportedly fell onto broken glass. Reports suggest that glass shards pierced his body, causing fatal injuries. Police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
