Youth hacked to death in broad daylight in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a ghastly incident, a youth was hacked to death in broad daylight in Thiruvananthapuram. The dead is Vishakh and the accused has been identified as Pradeep.

The incidet happened Sunday afternoon near the Passport Office in Kaithamukku. There was a personal enmity between the two for quite some time. Pradeep is Vishakh’s neighbour.

Visakh had earlier attacked Pradeep over personal enmity. Visakh had also been jailed in this case. This intensified the issues between the two. Following this, Visakh has been living in a house in Malayinkeezhu. He was murdered when he came to have food in Kaithamukku in the afternoon. Pradeep stabbed Visakh with a sword. He died on the way to the hospital. The police have started a search for the accused who escaped after the murder.
