NEW DELHI: A Malayali couple was found dead at their flat in Gurugram. The dead has been identified as Muhammed Aslam (30) of Koduvally Pullavur in Kozhikode and his wife Farhana (28) of Kondotty Nediyiruppu in Malappuram. Both were employees of a private company.

The two were found dead on Thursday at their rented apartment in Gurugram Sector 68. Gurugram police said that after strangulating his wife to death, he committed suicide by hanging.

Before the murder, Aslam had sent an email to his office, including the mobile numbers of his father and the landlord. Police said that he had requested to inform the death news to his family and flat owner.

Aslam’s company had informed the police. The two had lost their lives when the police arrived. The bodies have been sent for postmortem. The police said they are investigating the reason behind Aslam's decision to take such an extreme step.
