'I have only love for my husband'; woman found hanging at husband's house in Kollam

KOLLAM: A suicide note has emerged in connection with the death of a young woman who was found hanging at her husband's house at Bharanikkavu in Eravipuram, Kollam. The deceased has been identified as Saya (26), wife of Madannada native Afsal.

In the note, Saya reportedly wrote that she had only love for her husband and asked him to sell her gold to pay the car loan EMI. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances in the incident. However, the reason that led her to take the extreme step remains unclear.

The incident took place at around 8.30 pm on Saturday. Saya was found hanging from a window in the bedroom. Although her family members rushed her to a cooperative hospital in Palathara, her life could not be saved. Saya was a native of Pathanapuram, and her family is currently residing in Ernakulam. She had been married for four years. Eravipuram police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating the incident.
