THRISSUR: Devaswom Minister K Muraleedharan said that it is time to think about whether the court should interfere excessively in temple issues. The minister added that he has initiated this matter in the Assembly. The Devaswom and the government have no role in Sabarimala, and the high court says which flower should be used there.

‘If the court intervenes in everything, then do the devotees have any role? The Devaswom has no role in Sabarimala, and the government has no role either. The high court decides which flower should be used there. It is time to think about whether the court should interfere too much in the issues of temples. I have started it in the Assembly. Don't have to fear anyone when it is there When you speak out, you will be held in contempt of court,' said K Muraleedharan.
