Actress Mamitha Baiju has been hospitalised with high fever and severe body pain. Her trip to Australia has been postponed due to this. Mamitha was scheduled to be the chief guest at the Onam celebrations organised by Clyde Malayali. Clyde Malayali shared the video message from Mamitha on social media, in which she spoke about her health condition and apologised for being unable to attend the event.
‘Unfortunately, I will not be able to reach there on the date we had planned. I am presently hospitalised. If there had been any way, I would have surely come. However, the doctors have advised complete rest.
The doctors had asked her not to travel under any circumstances, as she is suffering from high fever, severe body pain, allergies and asthma. The actress said that having to cancel her visit to Australia was a major loss for her.
I really wanted to come and be with the Clyde family. I apologise to everyone and this is only because of my present health condition. I hope I will be able to visit Australia on another occasion,’ she said.
Meantime, ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, starring Mamitha as the female lead, is reportedly doing exceptionally well in theatres. The film has already entered the Rs 200-crore club and is reported to have grossed Rs 203 crore so far.
