CPM calls for hartal in Idukki on October 16 over land issues

THODUPUZHA: The CPM Idukki district committee has called for a hartal across Idukki district on October 16, demanding solutions to various land-related issues. The hartal will be observed from 6 am to 6 pm. As part of the protest, torchlight marches will be held at all local centres across the district on October 14, district secretary C.V. Varghese said at a press conference.
