Five-storied building collapses in Idukki; major tragedy averted

IDUKKI: A five-storied building which was under construction in Pambanar collapsed early Thursday morning. The building belonged to Agnal of Pambanar. Reports say that no one was in the building when it collapsed and so a major tragedy was averted. It is believed that the cause of the accident was a defect in the construction. The building near the national highway was under construction for a year.
