John Brittas tries to drape red shawl on Adoor Prakash, who says ‘not now’

NEW DELHI: CPM leader and John Brittas MP tried to drape a red shawl on UDF convenor Adoor Prakash during the protests staged in Jantar Mantar. The incident happened during a protest organised by the INDIA bloc demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. A video of the incident has surfaced.

The video shows John Brittas trying to drape the red shawl on Adoor Prakash during the protest march, while he steps aside and says not now. Adoor Prakash then takes the shawl and drapes it on Brittas. The video also shows the two leaders smiling at each other.

John Brittas is heard telling Adoor Prakash that he will drape the shawl some other time. This recent incident has drawn attention as it came shortly after Adoor Prakash publicly criticised Chief Minister V D Satheesan.
