Muslim girls are ones who follow atheist social media pages the most: Minister KM Shaji

MALAPPURAM: Minister K M Shaji has said that Muslim girls are the ones who follow atheist social media pages the most. He also said that event organisations that claim to be progressive have failed to properly guide or advise girls from the new generation.

“Community organisations are unable to understand the progress of Muslim girls and the social changes taking place among them. This is a matter of serious concern. There are organisations that have not changed in any way despite the current circumstances. Muslim girls also played a major role in the CJP protest. The concern is about how far the community has been able to accept and accommodate these changes,” the minister said.

He was speaking at the C H Mohammed Koya National Seminar organised at the University of Calicut.
