Held talks with minister; KSEB meter readers to call off strike 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KSEB meter readers have agreed to call off their strike following talks with the Electricity Minister. The meter readers who were dismissed for participating in the strike will be reinstated. Another meeting will be held next Thursday to discuss in detail the issues raised by the meter readers.

The employees began their strike on the first of this month, bringing bill distribution across the state to a complete halt. With meter reading services coming to a standstill, the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) had started exploring alternative arrangements.
