Malappuram police with attractive offer for bike riders; Facebook post goes viral

MALAPPURAM: As part of road safety awareness, Malappuram police is here with an attractive offer to youngsters, mostly bike riders. Malappuram District Police Chief's 'Smart Rider Challenge' will be held till noon on Wednesday and riders just need to ensure that they wear helmets to win attractive prizes.

The offer has been announced through Malappuram SP's Facebook page. First of all, one should like the Facebook page of Malappuram Police and should comment with a photo of your wearing a helmet below the particular post. Three photos with the most likes will win the special prize. The result will be declared on January 17th. The deadline is set for 12 pm on January 17th. Police Chief S. Sasidharan will distribute the prize.

Apart from this, netizens can also win prizes if share pictures of people not wearing helmets. The pictures should be authentic and information including location, date and time should be given to the police. The police also clarified that the information of those who send such photos will be kept confidential.

The special prize will be sent to the address of the winners.
