Noose tightens on YouTuber Thoppi; Kochi Cyber ​​Police to investigate case

KOCHI: Kochi Cyber ​​Police will launch an investigation against popular YouTuber Nihad aka Thoppi and his gang after they parted ways and engaged in mudslinging, revealing gross details of debauchery and drug use. The police received a directive from the state cyber operation. The investigation has been ordered for crimes such as drug use, POCSO, and spreading pornographic content through public platforms.

Prominent lawyer Sreejith Perumana filed a complaint against the YouTubers. Sreejith Perumana clarified that it is unacceptable to valorise spreading pornographic videos and making misogynistic remarks on social media. Sreejith said that the YouTubers committed the same crime as if a big deal.

"They have polluted cyberspace by uploading a masturbation video, though blurred on YouTube Live. This video alone was watched live by millions of children. In addition, they are publicly sharing phone audio clips that abuse even women from the families of prominent celebrities in an extremely obscene manner. They have extenuated the drug use and proudly keep in touch with the drug mafia. They have thrown away all sense of propriety by passing sexual innuendos at all women who happen to fall in front of their eyes.” said advocate Sreejith.
