Technician dies after electrocution at Nivin Pauly's film location

KOCHI: A technician died after suffering an electric shock at the location of actor Nivin Pauly's upcoming film in Kochi. The deceased has been identified as Vishnu, a native of Thrissur.

The incident occurred at the film's location in Edayar around noon on Wednesday. Vishnu reportedly suffered an electric shock while connecting power lines during a break in the shooting.

The crew immediately switched off the main power supply following the incident. Vishnu's body was later shifted to a hospital in Ernakulam. Nivin Pauly and other members of the film crew are also reported to have reached the hospital.

The shooting of the film, directed by Nashid Famy, began in Edayar on Wednesday. The accident occurred on the first day of filming at the location.
