Youth Congress accuses minister Saji Cheriyan of illegally acquiring wealth, lodges complaint with Vigilance

ALAPPUZHA: Youth Congress has lodged a complaint with the Vigilance that minister Saji Cheriyan had acquired wealth illegally. In his last assembly election affidavit, his assets were shown as Rs 32 lakh. However, the minister recently said that he had assets worth Rs 5 crore.

Following this, Youth Congress state general secretary Binu Chully lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta, Vigilance and the Election Commission, alleging that the minister had illegally acquired property.
