Brittas, Chintha Jerome and A A Rahim inducted in state committee

KOCHI: After dropping senior leaders, more young leaders have been inducted in the CPM state committee. John Brittas, A A Rahim, Chintha Jerome, V P Sanu and Panoli Vatsan were newly elected to the state committee. Also K S Saleekha, O R Kelu, DYFI All India President A A Rahim and Chintha Jerome, state youth welfare vice president, have been included in the state committee. V P Sanu is SFI All India President. Panoli Vatsan, a native of Kannur, is the state secretary of Karshaka Sangham. Former Kannur district secretary P Sasi was also elected to the CPM state committee.

Ministers V N Vasavan, Saji Cherian and former MLAs Raju Abraham and M Swaraj and K Anil Kumar have been elected to the state secretariat. Senior leaders above 75 including G Sudhakaran and Ananthalavatom Anandan, have been dropped from the state committee. Koliyakode Krishnan Nair, M M Mani, Vaikkom Viswan, K P Sahadevan, P P Vasudevan, C P Narayanan, K V Ramakrishnan, M Chandran, K J Thomas and P Karunakaran were dropped.
