KUTCH: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has hinted that Sindh, which is presently in Pakistan, may become part of India in the future. Rajnath Singh made this new revelation while attending a function of Sindhi community. The Defence Minister said the borders can change and Sindh can become part of India tomorrow.

Rajnath Singh mentioned what senior BJP leader LK Advani had said about Sindh in his book. 'Sindhis like L K Advani have not accepted the separation of Sindh from India.'
'Not only in Sindh but Hindus all over India consider the Indus River sacred. Sindh will always be part of India. When it comes to land, borders can always change. Who knows, Sindh may not become part of India tomorrow, Sindhis who see the Indus River as a holy river will always be our people wherever they are,' the minister said.

This is the second time that Rajnath Singh has said that India's borders will be expanded. Earlier, while addressing the Indian community in Morocco, the Union Defence minister had said that Indian borders would be expanded. This was referring to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Reminding that Indians still sing the national anthem with pride, Rajnath Singh said there are many Muslims who consider the water of the Indus River to be as pure and sacred as the Aab-e- Zamzam in Mecca.
