Brutality of youth in Attingal, throws toddler at wall, attacks wife

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth brutally beat his wife and two-and-a-half-year-old child in Attingal. Saji of Nellimoodu, Aylam, committed this cruelty. The complaint lodged by his wife said that he hit the child's head against the wall. The police have registered a case against Saji.

The incident happened at around 11 pm last Wednesday. Saji, who came to the house, became violent and used the handle of a sword that was there to hit his wife on her head and back, injuring her. The complaint also says that he threw the child against the wall. The child sustained head injuries.

Saji married her four years ago. The complaint also says that he had been harassing her for various reasons during this time. The complaint says that Saji had said that his wife was not beautiful and that the dowry given was low. The accused has not been arrested yet.
