"A year and a half since Suresh Gopi won, unnecessary allegations in the backdrop of local body elections"

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar has said that the fake campaigns against Union Minister Suresh Gopi are part of a conspiracy. He accused that those who have not achieved anything in the past ten years are trying to divert public attention.

"Questioning Suresh Gopi's election victory is an act of insulting the voters of Thrissur. The allegations being made in connection with the Thrissur election are part of the Left and Right Fronts, which have nothing to say to the people in the election, trying to fool the people by lying. If there is a complaint, it should be made in court and before the Election Commission. Congress' politics is to try to fool the people by lying when the election is approaching. The CPM is the B team of that Congress party in Kerala."

"Since 2014, Rahul Gandhi has been making various allegations. All of them have been debunked. We have seen the allegations made by Rahul in the Rafale deal and Operation Sindoor. Earlier, the blame was on the EVM, but now it has changed to the voter list. The Left and the Right have come out to fool the people with such false propaganda as the elections approach, because the question of what has been done in the last ten years remains unanswered."
