KOCHI: More details emerged in the murder of a woman whose body was found inside a sack in Kochi. Last night, George, a native of Konthuruthy, brought a sex worker home from Ernakulam South. George's wife was at her daughter's house as a birthday party was ongoing there. After attending the function, George returned alone and brought the sex worker home.

They engaged in sexual intercourse at night. After this, an argument broke out about the money. Enraged, George took an iron rod from the room and hit the woman on the head, instantly killing her. Two migrant workers who were staying in his house on rent heard a noise, but chose to ignore it, thinking it might be a cat stumbling on some utensils.

After committing the murder, George went to the neighbouring houses around 4:30 in the morning to look for the sack. It is reported that he was drunk. He told his neighbour that his pet dog had died and needed a sack to move the corpse. Finally, he found the sack from a nearby shop.

While trying to put the body in the sack and throw it away, George collapsed. In the morning, members of the Haritha Karma Sena found the woman's half-naked body in the sack and George lying unconscious nearby. They then informed the police. Blood stains were found inside the house. After detailed questioning by the police, the accused confessed to the crime.
