Today, a yellow alert was issued in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam and Kasaragod districts. The possibility of isolated heavy rain is predicted.

Heavy rain is defined as a situation where 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain is received in 24 hours. The Indian Meteorological Department informed that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kmph in isolated places in Kerala today (14/06/2026).
